As gyms and studios close during Ontario’s state of emergency, many gyms and meditation studios pivoted to offering online videos on social media as a way to leverage their platforms for social good, and connect with their local community. In an effort to keep people safe but also to stay healthy, health officials say that physical activity can help us during this confusing time.
Local Fitness:
The Northwood Club will be providing complimentary virtual training, Monday through Friday, at 9 am.
Jonas Deline one of our respected trainers will take you through a full body workout with a focus on the items that you would have at your home. You only need a small space at home and access to Facebook/Instagram. We will be uploading the Live videos from Facebook each day to Instagram for any of you that have missed the morning workout.
We encourage all of you to share these workouts with your loved ones as exercise is an optimal way of improving overall immune function. This is critical in avoiding illness.
We will also be sharing daily tips with valuable information regarding all aspects of health and fitness through our Facebook and Instagram.
You will not have to sign up for these classes in advance. If you have not used Facebook/Instagram or are new to it simply follow our page @thenorthwoodclub and start tuning in!

You can purchase your weekly pass through MINDBODY. Once you purchase your pass, your confirmation will be sent to you. Please look for info on your receipt for log in instructions. This log in will be the same all week.
If you are on a monthly unlimited or a yearly unlimited please email directly and they will give you your sign in for classes. All other passes will be put on hold at this time until Buddha Rider is back up and running. Each class is live streamed and you must be there at that time. These classes will not be recorded.
Obviously you will need a bike and trainer for the rides. All other classes will be prop free unless you have stuff at home. For yoga blocks you can use a stack of books, a water bottle or a can.
