Ski season is upon us and many homeowners in Collingwood and The Blue Mountains decide to rent out their chalet or home for the season. Did you know that many insurance carriers either limit coverage or do not offer a policy at all when you rent out your property?
Noble Insurance sent us some information we thought was valuable on an Insurance Program they offer specifically for this purpose. We talked to Julianne Cornfield, a Broker at Noble Insurance, about what this program offers.
“The home and/or condo package that we have designed does not limit any regular home insurance features; in fact, it adds additional coverage for damage caused by tenants and rental income protection,” says Julianne. “We offer this specific exclusive coverage through Gore Mutual for both home and condos.”
It’s important to protect your interests when renting out your property, whether through a security deposit or proper insurance.
