POST EVENT UPDATE

The Locations North Holiday House Tour is a great way to get into the holiday spirit and get unique decor ideas. This year 1000 tickets were sold with proceeds benefitting local charities. The day began at the Toronto Ski Club with guest speaker Jo Alcorn, a greenery demonstration by Green Love, fashion show, and a holiday marketplace.
Karen Willison sponsored one of six homes at 129 Blueski George. Our home, decorated by Tricia Jeffery’s of Dovetail Interior was selected as the fan favourite Winner!  Over a 1,000 cookies were baked by Susan Cuda and gallons of Egg Nog and hot chocolate were was served by Miller Dairy.
A Big thank you to Royal LePage Locations North Brokerage, Desmond Von Teichman and Jenn Booth for their dedication and organization of the event.

Meet Guest Speaker — Jo Alcorn

One of Jo Alcorn’s most fulfilling adventures has been having the opportunity to design her own signature furniture collection. This endeavor quickly blossomed into a complete home product line that now includes: pillows, bedding, lighting, wallpaper and a newly launched charitable pet collection aptly named PET LOVE 4 CHARITY.

With over 15 years’ experience as a celebrity interior and home product designer, expert instructor, corporate ambassador, and TV personality, Jo has created a fabulous fan following. To add to her credentials, she is a style editor & writer for multiple publications and blogs, a public speaker, and an avid animal and environmental advocate. Jo’s passion for design has been showcased on HGTV, Discovery Channel, Marilyn Denis, CBC’s Steven and Chris, and many more along with multiple global design publications.

Jo is the designer face of HGTV’s 2014– “Critical Listing” show and is creatively showcasing her abilities on the newest season of HGTV show “Home to Win” in Season 1, 2 and 3.
