DESCRIPTION:Downtown Collingwood is once again pleased to present Collingwood’s Annual Santa Claus Parade. As in previous years\, the parade will be held in the early evening to capture all the magic of our downtown holiday lights. Mark your calendars for Saturday\, November 19\, beginning at 5 p.m.\, and plan to join the fun!\nThe theme of this year’s parade is ‘Christmas through the Eyes of a Child’… remembering the special feeling that the holiday season brought to you as a child … when everything seemed bigger\, brighter and almost magical.\nThis year’s parade will be part of a fun-filled day in Downtown Collingwood as we officially launch the holiday season. Enjoy the many merchant Open Houses … carolers on the street…. strolling entertainers … plus lots more\, including the traditional “lighting” of the town Christmas Tree.\nNow is the time to register your float with the committee. There is no entry fee for community groups and non-profit organizations. The commercial entry fee is just $50.00.\nAnother great way to get involved in the parade is through your financial support. We want to make this year’s edition of the Santa Claus Parade bigger and better than ever.
