SUMMARY:Collingwood Downtown Great Easter Egg Hunt!
DESCRIPTION:Hopping into the downtown on Saturday April 16 will be the Easter Bunny himself! It is with great pleasure that Downtown announces Mr. E. Bunny has again made room in his busy schedule to visit Downtown Collingwood\, “It’s a tradition I wouldn’t miss!  I love the early hunt for eggs at the Station grounds and the unique way Downtown lets me hide all my eggs in the business windows. The children bring their Moms and Dads to help find and count them\, so this makes the day truly a family adventure.” \nThe day begins at 10 am at the Collingwood Museum / Station…. bring a bag and collect the eggs hidden by the Easter Bunny on the grounds. This event is for children 12 and under only\, and they must bring an adult with them to join the fun. This part of the day is hosted by the Journey Community Church and there will be lots of activities to keep the little ones busy while they wait for their turn to join the hunt. \nThen join us at the Children’s Activity Centre\, in front of Collingwood’s Town Hall. There will be a chance to take home a fun balloon. You can pick up your egg counting entry form\, then head out and count the eggs that the Easter Bunny has hidden in all the business windows throughout downtown. Bring along your parents for help\, as accuracy counts!  Return the form for your chance to win a great prize. \nCome dressed for the weather and stay for this Spring filled day of activities. Don’t forget your camera so you can have your photo taken with the Easter Bunny. \nWhile you’re visiting Downtown\, drop into the shops as the new spring clothing\, accessories and home décor fashions have arrived. Check out and see what’s new; from Easter Bonnets to Easter dinner\, the businesses and shops have everything you will need for this holiday and the rest of Spring.  Stay for a cup of tea or coffee or a great lunch at one of our outstanding restaurants.  Make Downtown Collingwood your destination for everything Easter! \nFor further information\, call 705-445-5595

SUMMARY:Collingwood Downtown Farmer's Market
DESCRIPTION:“Your Outdoor Grocery Store” \nThe Collingwood Downtown Business Improvement Area (BIA) is pleased to announce the return of the Collingwood Downtown Farmers’ Market\, this Saturday\, May 22nd. We continue to work with the Town of Collingwood and the local health unit to ensure that we have all protocols in place to ensure a safe shopping experience for both market vendors and customers. \nCome out this Saturday for the first market of the season and enjoy Collingwood’s ‘only outdoor grocery store’ at the corner of Second and Pine Streets. The market will open from 8 a.m. and continue to 1 p.m. \nPlease note that the market will be presented in the same format as last year. We will require that you respect physical distancing and wear a face mask both in line and in the market area. No pet dogs will be allowed. We will be managing inflow of traffic at the one way entrance along Pine Street as well as arrows will guide you through the market to reach all your favourite vendors. Thank you to Heretic Spirits who will again be sponsoring the sanitizing stations at the entrance and exits at the market. \nVendors have been busy planting\, growing and baking to offer only the best for our 18th anniversary season and are looking forward to welcoming everyone back. As the growing season becomes more fruitful\, so will the variety of the goods available at the market. \nChanges to provincial regulations regarding producers permitted at farmers’ markets means that we will now also be welcoming local craft breweries and distillers to our market this year\, in addition to the wineries and cideries whose products have been available previously. \nFind out more details on what to expect this Saturday\, May 22nd by checking out our Facebook pages and details at www.collingwooddowntown.com.

SUMMARY:AGORA: Path of Light
DESCRIPTION:Explore The Sights And Sounds Of AGORA\n\nAGORA is an unusual and magical space inspired by storytellers and cycles of life in nature. As participants walk this circular path\, they will encounter a series of interactive lighting installations based on the five elements of air\, space\, earth\, water and fire. \nVisit AGORA this season to uncover the stories that have grown from the land\, and get passed down hand to hand through time. Find our what the forest would tell us if we could find a common language of light and sound.\n\nPlease note: masks are required on the Open-Air Gondola. Masks are not required on the AGORA: Path of Light trail\, though they are recommended.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIntroducing: Armonia\, AGORA’s Newest Installation \nArmonia explores the importance of keystone species from the mushrooms that dot the forest floor to the pack wolves that rule the woods. A network of LED light strings criss-cross from underneath a wooden boardwalk simulating the root system that mushrooms create and illuminating the wolves that hide in the background. Armonia is now open! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nExplore The Elements\nYou are on a path of discovery.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nGo Behind the Light\nA brief glimpse into where AGORA began\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCreating this interactive night walk experience was a journey in itself\, putting together a group of the most talented people in their industries from across the country. The result is the work of an incredible team composed of Limbic Media from Victoria BC\, world leaders in interactive art and light technology\, Edesia Moreno Barata\, Concept Designer & Artistic Director\, most notably recognized for her work with Cirque du Soleil\, Marie Metaphor Specht\, Poet and Spoken Word Artist\, Jeff Monague\, Ojibwe language professor and writer\, Grey Cloud (James Carpenter)\, Anishinaabek healer and our advisor for this project\, and the talented group at Blue Mountain. Together\, they have brought to life the spirit of the forest.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAgora Tickets\nTickets include one round-trip ride on the Open Air Gondola and 45 minutes on the AGORA: Path of Light experience.
