Purchase your ticket online at www.brucemuseum.ca\nFebruary 10 – Dan Wong – Adventures in the Arctic Wilderness: Tales by a Northern Canoe Guide\nNorthern canoe guide Dan Wong will share stories from his first summer in the Arctic after taking over Alex Hall’s 43-year-old business: Canoe Arctic Inc. His presentation will share tales from the tundra: arctic wolf den discoveries\, stampeding herds of muskoxen\, and a trip to Canada’s newest national park: Thaidene Nene. Participants will learn about Dan’s epic adventures (and misadventures) that weave between the traditional river routes Alex pioneered\, and the guests and guides who continue to explore them. Dan is the owner of Jackpine Paddle\, based in Yellowknife\, Northwest Territories\, and offers fully-guided expeditions by canoe and kayak to the most remote and spectacular places in the Canadian North.\nwww.jackpinepaddle.com
